Welcome to the MacQueen Bros. Mid Argyll Triathlon 2010

The MacQueen Bros Mid Argyll Triathlon aspires to be a sporting event which promotes local community participation balanced with the right degree of sporting competition to attract some of the best Triathletes from across Scotland. Affiliated to Tri-Scotland, the National body for Triathlon in Scotland, the event is now a regular fixture on the national events calendar.

Run by a small but dedicated committee, the event is  centred on the Mid Argyll Swimming Pool in Lochgilphead and the organisers welcome all entrants be they a member of a team or an individual.

The 2010 event continues with the new route, with a reversal of the cycle route and the run route being out and back along the Crinan canal, from the trial runs the course produces some fast times, more scenic route and the opportunity for more spectators to support the event.

The MacQueen Bros Mid Argyll Triathlon is arguably the biggest multi sport event in Mid Argyll and once again we expect to see the race full early, so if you want to be on the start line, then get your entry in - entry for this years event is on line via EntryCentral
